A Brand New Semester!!
Climbing into the second semester of the 4FC, we have had to make a lot of changes around headquarters. I want to take a moment to thank James and Adam, two of our former officers, for all their help and support last semester, and to wish them good luck now that they have graduated and left us. Adam, we're proud of you! (inside joke) Also, I would like to congratulate James on his upcoming wedding. Anyhow, we have a new treasurer now, welcome Isaac Archer. And due to some amendments we had to make to the club in order to become official, there are now only four officer positions available, but don't fret, we are still looking for a few department heads and chapter representatives.
OK, here's the calendar, this weekend we are starting up the 4FC Winter Homes Project, we will be building igloos and making them availalble for camping in, and hosting activities in for any members and their folk. Next week the ratification process should start for our constitution and then our homeless shelter fundraiser can get on it's feet, later this spring there will definately be a car smashing event to raise money for a (clambake?) That'll be fun too, so stick with us and be entertained. I also want to remind you folks that if any of you want to organize a taseful prank, we are at you disposal,(And armed with El Pan De Polo, hehe, second inside joke) Just drop a line on our e-mail!
One more interesting item, we have a faculty advisor now, so if you have a class with or see Dr. Jack Judkins in the hall, congratulate him on teaming up with such a wonderful organization. The website will be under editing for awhile, so be patient with the links. And, our meeting times have changed to 6pm on thursdays (every thursday for officers/heads/rep's, every other thursday for group sessions which will be filled with games and activities) and all meetings will take place in the basement lounge of Pine hall from now on. OK then, you all take care and be sure to stop by and check out the igloos this weekend!
